Rumex acetosa habit

It has been our experience that Rumex acetosa performs very well in our area in a cool season planting. It was found to have good cold tolerance, and did not seem to be negatively effected by cold temperatures. Its root system is thick and the foliage is light green. The foliage has a lemony-tangy flavor and is tender when eaten.
